U.S Stock Market News Today: SEC Tells Spot Bitcoin ETF Hopefuls to Make Final Changes by the End Of 2023. 

 meeting of U.S SEC officials and 7 different company representatives was set on Thursday to discuss the launch of exchange traded funds (ETFs). 

According to the sources, the committee appointed two of the representatives to send in their final changes by the end of next week. While the data on all the companies attending the meeting is not yet made public, BlackRock (BLK.N) and Grayscale Investments,  ARK Investments and 21 Shares are said to have participated. 

The SEC officials are yet to decide whether the joint proposal of Ark Investments and 21 Shares should be accepted or not however the issuers are optimistic that they will get the “go-signal” by 10th January. 

Two of the company representatives later told the press that the SEC has issued a deadline for completion of their fillings of December 29 and any regulator that fails to meet the deadline will not be listed in the first phase of Bitcoin ETF approvals that is set to happen in January 2024.
